Chiang Mai Zoo - Thailand
Chiang Mai zoo was open on 1995, founded by Mr.Harold M. Young, an American missionary. He kept some wild animals at the foothill of Suthep Mountain to be private zoo. Now Chiang Mai Zoo has 7,000 wild animals and covers the area of 531 rai (1 rai = 2/5 acre).
The old zoo in Thailand is Dusit Zoo open more than 65 years, located at Bangkok.
Interested on Chiang Mai Zoo
Now Chiang Mai has new projected to built night safari park which boosting up from Kenya government that agreeing to provide 135 African wild animals to Thailand under the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding). Thailand has a deal with MoU that we will turn back money worth 20 million baht to Kenya for join donating in elephant fund. This fund help Kenya solve the problem of rogue elephants.
