This tradition has been carried through to the present day since ancient times. It is the biggest and most beautiful event of its kinds that attracts people from all over the country. This annual event features long-boat races on the Nan River, after a big religious offering is made. Other celebrations include richly decorated boats and cheer squad competitions.
